This Christmas didn’t feel as merry as usual. Maybe it’s because the world feels especially dark right now. But, as we always do, we rallied, most of all for my kiddo.I wrote something after the election results were posted, and I think now is the time to share it. It’s been sitting with me, quietly waiting to be read. It’s where I’m at right now, deeply affected by the state of the world, yet still seeking peace and connection.

June is considered Pride Month and for most of us it’s also when we celebrate the Father figures in our lives. In my household you can’t celebrate one without celebrating the other.
November 2019 was one to remember. November was intense as it was heartwarming. November made me put a lot of what I have just learned about myself to the test. That should be read as: all my spiritual teachings were called upon and tested.
April 26, 2019 marks 20 years since we lost our beloved Abuela. Since, my mother and uncles lost their mother. 20 years ago, my family lost its HEART.
